I make hand made production runs of a shirts I design, one at a time. I think of an idea, figure out a approach that might work to create it and try and fail for a while. Often times the real love is that I find the process of making it interesting or challenging. Sometimes I mess around and find something interesting I didn’t plan. Sometimes I’ll take aim at a meme because I think nobody’s actually done a good shirt for it yet. I will create and redesign new Vader shirts forever.
I usually feel that my designs are a shirt that I want to wear, but often times I sell the prototype that was to be my copy and move onto the next idea. It seems better to send them out, I rarely keep or wear my own work.
I post the shirt designs here and I’ll make a tiny run just for those who are interested. Hand craft the shirt one at a time. I don’t have space to store backstock, and I tend to get bored with a design pretty fast. Except when they get interesting again through a different technique or approach I hadn’t thought of before. Then I go around again.
So, it’s best to sign up for emails and follow on twitter if you think you might be interested. I may reoffer a design from the past as much as have a sale of prototypes or post something completely new.
