Tiny Run is a bi-weekly, on-demand, interesting shirt product venue. (Soon it may not be just only shirts?) For two weeks a single design will be featured, and at the end of every two week period, only the amount of orders placed dictate how many are produced. The old design is retired, and a new design will be posted.
Designs will not be reissued, there is no backstock.
The whole idea is to make a tiny, more personal run of a design. It’s an environment built around the idea, “I’m printing this on a shirt because I want one. I’ll print more for those who are interested and also think it’s awesome.” So why not make a tiny run just for those who are interested? Do it one design at a time. The whole idea flies in the face of the internet’s making-money-with-t-shirts paradigm, where slim margins makes quantities the king.
We make as many as we need. And that need is why we make them. I’m printing this on a tshirt because I want one. I’m using whatever makes the image sing: screen printing, embroidery, direct-to-garment printing, sewing other fabrics right on there. And never will you see a url or any sort of Tiny Run tag.
So. I’m trying something different.
